1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account on Mubrary ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Mubrary is currently operated by Aybars Mavi as an individual, not through a registered company.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing up you confirm you meet this requirement, in compliance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the ratings, posts, and comments you submit ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Mubrary a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the Service (e.g. showing your ratings to people who follow you).
You are solely responsible for your User Content. Don't post anything illegal, infringing, harassing, or that violates someone else's rights.
4. Music catalog data
Album, artist, and track metadata (names, MusicBrainz identifiers, and relationships) is sourced from the MusicBrainz open database under its CC0 public domain dedication. Some supplementary data we use, including genre tags, is sourced under MusicBrainz's CC BY-NC-SA license, which restricts commercial use — this may need review if Mubrary introduces paid features or advertising. Cover art is provided by the Cover Art Archive (operated by the Internet Archive) at the uploader's own risk and without a guaranteed per-image license; we do not independently verify or claim ownership of this artwork.
5. Conduct & moderation
We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harass other users, or abuse the blocking/reporting systems. See our DMCA Policy for copyright takedown requests.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings, which permanently removes your ratings, posts, and personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aybars Mavi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
